The 99 Diaries: Entry #3 – Walk-A-Thon!

So, as part of my fundraising efforts to raise money for “99 Impossible Things”, I’ll be hosting a walk-a-thon dubbed THE MAGIC BEAN 9-MILE WALK-A-THON (get it? 9 miles for “99 Impossible Things”?) The Magic Bean is the name of the coffee shop in which the play takes place – so we won’t be hiking to a magic beanstalk in Griffith Park…unless we stumble across it along the way.

The Magic Bean Walk-A-Thon will take place June 12 in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. I’m currently looking for people who want to participate (and hopefully find people to sponsor them…since that’s how we’ll raise funds) OR sponsor me! A sponsor can pledge to give a certain amount of money to the participate for ever mile he/she walks (for example, I’ll give you $1 for each mile you walk – which is $9 at the end!)

If I can get 10 people to raise $99 – we’ll be in amazing shape! Remember – that’s only finding 11 people to give you $1 per mile! I have an official form you can use to gather the info – just email me!

Donors also have the option of giving a flat donation just for participation.

The Magic Bean Walk-A-Thon will be a fun way to spend your Saturday morning – and there may even be some fun afterwards! (Maybe water balloons during? Who knows?!)

We are looking for Participants AND Donors! Please contact me at Chelsea.r.sutton@gmail.com if you would like to participate or sponsor me in The Magic Bean 9-Mile Walk-A-Thon!

Participants should turn in copies of their sponsorship form along with any pre-paid donations the morning of the walk-a-thon to Chelsea Sutton.  Donors can pay by check, cash or by Paypal through my ChipIn Page:
